Thought the girls were super excited, I know I was...then DD,8, drops the bomb...

She asks if we'll be able to get Christy Carlson Romano's autograph. Sigh...we're in Texas, going to a touring company show. Obviously she's been watching way to much Disney Channel and just assumed. She was a little confused and not too happy. We've known about this show for almost a month and she's been thinking she was gonna see Ren! Put a little burst in my bubble!

This show is UNBELIEVABLE. The best broadway show I've ever seen....also saw the touring show in Philadelphia, which was as great (if not better) than the show in NYC.

Have a great time!

Have a great time! I was just down in Sundance Square this weekend (twice to the movies :) ), and kept seeing the Beauty and the Beast posters at the Bass. I also keep hearing radio ads for it. I'd love to go, but I'm saving my dollars for my December trip::yes::.

We took our kids to this show about a year ago and they loved it! Ditto about the "mug" part of the show..that was DHs favorite part too!

We are now trying to come up with our annual girls trip show for this Fall. This is for myself, my DD age 4, my sis, and my Mom. We have our choices narrowed down to Wicked, Beauty and the Beast, and Mamma Mia. (I have seen all 3, but the others haven't) Believe it or not....the 4 year old wants to see Mamma Mia or Wicked....NOT Beauty and the Beast!!!! what is up with her??????? I think she has seen the little show at MGM too many times, that she thinks she has seen it already.....but the BRoadway show is an experience of itself!!!! I think I might just tell her (and the others) that tickets for Wicked and Mamma Mia are sold out!!! SSSHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

mbw12, since you've seen wicked already I have a question.. our older kids are 11 and 81/2 is wicked appropriate for them to see? was it a good show? thanks

My daughter will be 5 at the time that I was thinking of seeing it again! So, yes I think it is fine for kids. There are some scary parts....but honestly, nothing more so than in Beauty and the Beast!

There definitely were kids this weekend at the show that I saw. The story is basically about the Witches from the Wizard of Oz and their friendship. It was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know your kids best to determine if they would be scared or not.

We went last time it was at Bass Hall, really a good show. The theatre is much better than the Music Hall too :)

Enjoy the show!
