Going to SanFrancisco

Dh is going to SanFrancisco for business later next month and I am going to go with him. I was last there about 10 years ago. At that time we went to Muir Woods, Napa Valley and Alcatraz. Can anyone recommend any restaurants in the area and tours that they especially enjoyed? Thanks.

Been years for me also, but there are lots of choices in the Fishermans Wharf area.

We used to always hit Ghirardellis...

I highly recommend doing the alacatraz tour at night. You get an entirely different feeling on the grounds. You can also do the behind the scenes tour of the hospital. Really fun!

I would recommend not eating on Fisherman's Warf. The restaurants there are overpriced, and the food is mediocre. Try taking a cab to China Town or Little Italy! Yum!
