Going to MGM pin Event in March

My DD and I are going to our first Pin Event. It is at MGM. Any advice from y'all? I was just going to buy the pins we liked. Would all the pins be popular trade pins? They are LEs but kind of expensive.

Sometimes it's hard to tell what pins are going to be popular traders. LE size isn't always an indicator. Case in point, the Black Heritage Celebration pin. It's LE 1000 but DW Lauri and I have had one in our trader book for over a year. On the other hand, you never know which LE is going to be the next Plane Crazy filmstrip or Wet Paint.

I would think the pins would be good traders with people who weren't able to go to the event, perhaps for pins from other events or for other LEs.
