My hubby and I have booked into POFQ from Feb 13th to the 18th. We return home on the 19th. We were planning on going to the Kennedy Space Centre on the 18th, then getting a hotel in the Orlando area. Now I'm wondering if we shouldn't just rent a car just for a day, go to Kennedy, but stay that extra night at Disney.
My first question is - we are getting the UPH ticket with our resort (we booked through the "At Par" promotion in Canada so we have to go that route to get the discount). Does that allow us full access to the parks on our last day ie, last night is the 17th - do we get full access to the parks on the 18th?
Second question is - are there any type of "tours" that leave from Disney for the Kennedy Space Centre?
Final question - in regards to renting a car - should we pre-book it, or can we just play it by ear? (I'm assuming you can rent a car at Disney??) If we decide to extend our reservation at Disney I would prefer to play it by ear - then if our feet are too tired or the weather is bad, we can take a break, and go visit Kennedy, or even better we can go at the start of the trip, and make use of the car to pick up some supplies (bottled water etc).
Thanks for you input!
