Going to Grand Calif. on points at Disneyland

Anyone have any good ideas of other things to do in CA. besides Disneylant? We have two teenage boys and would like to do stuff they are interested in. We leave in two days! Also I'd like any recommendations of places to eat to LA. We're going to Lion King in LA. Anyone know how close the closest redwoods are? What's a good beach with lots happening? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance

You are going to love the Grand Californian. we had a blast this past March there staying on points.

I am going to copy this post over to the Disnleyland Board. They were invaluable when planning our trip. they have some great idea on alternate trips and beaches.

You don't say how long you're staying in CA, babylisa4. There's a lot to do here. Down in the La area, there's Disney, DCA, Knotts Berry Farm, Six Flags, San Diego Zoo & Wild Animal Park...

The redwoods are probably out, since they're up in my neck of the woods (about 7-8 hours north of the LA area).
