Going to first unread post?

Ever since the new boards started, I would automatically be taken to the first unread post when I clicked on a thread. Now today it's not doing that anymore. Maybe I'm an idiot and accidentally changed a setting but I can't find how to change it back. It was one of my favorite new features. Anyone know how to change it/where to find that setting? Thanks!

Are you being taken to the first post in the thread? If you click on the date (underneath the thread title) that's where it takes you. By clicking directly on the thread title (as well as the dot at the front of the title) you should be being taken to the first unread post.

I'm clicking on the thread title and it's just taking me to the very first post of the thread. It's not taking me to the first unread post.

When the boards transitioned last month, all "history" of what you had read disappeared. Unlike previously, the boards no longer automatically log you off after X time and mark everything from that point new. Everything remains new or unread until you actually read it or use the "Mark Forums Read" button. If you use the button at the top left of the forums to "Mark Forums Read" next time you log off, the next time you log-on and click a thread with a new unread post you will be taken directly to the first unread post.
