Going to early ADR in Magic Kingdom

We have an 8:05 am reservation at crystal palace in the magic kingdom. We are most likely going to take a taxi, but how do we get into the MK so early? When I made the reservation, they said we had to go to the TTC first. Is that true?

You cannot get to the Magic Kingdom without going through the TTC (Ticket & Transportation Center) first unless you are staying at Contemporary. So yes, you can taxi to the TTC and then get on the monorail or boat to the MK.

I know you said that you were probably going to take a taxi but you can take a bus right from your WDW resort and not have to go to the TTC. The MK buses start at 7:00am. We have always been able to get there in plenty of time!

There are buses running as early as 6:30am daily to take people to the various breakfasts throught WDW.

If you do decide to take a taxi it would be easier to take it to the Contemporary Resort and just take the easy seven minute walk to the MK entrance.

A resort bus will take you to the front gates of the MK, not to the TTC. I would take the bus if I were you. If you take a taxi, it will have to drop you off at the TTC. We arrived by car at the TTC at 7:10 and had no problems getting on a monorail.

Just as a side note, we had an 8:10 ADR at CP and was questioned by a CM at the gate of MK. He didn't check our names off a list or anything...he just took us at our word that we had dining ressies.

We plan on renting a car - so do we just drive our car from POR to each resort or to the Park where we have breakfast ressies? Or do we have to go to the TTC if the park is closed when the reservations occur?

Kind of piggy backing off this question but we also have 8:05 Ressies in a couple of weeks for CRT. The park has EMH at 8:00 but we need to get to CRT about 5-10 minutes before. We are staying at the WL - I thought the boats don't start their transportation to MK till 30 minutes before opening - is that correct? If so - would it be better to grab a boat to the contemporary and then grab the the monorail to MK?

I would just take the bus from WL to MK.

The TTC is the parking lot for MK. If you are driving to MK that is where you will go. The rest of the parks have their own parking lots.
