Hi everyone!

Well, we've decided to go to DLP this weekend (1st timers). We are just driving up for 1 night. Will be staying at Citea Torcy Marne La Valee in a 2room apartment -- has anyone stayed here??

Originally, I was going to buy the Francillien passports for both me and hubby w/one free passport for my 5 year old. But, since I have to pay for parking at the park, I might as well get the Fantasy for myself and daughter and hubby get the Francillien. I guess I'll just have to fork out the extra $$ for a passport in November when my 2 year old turns 3--oh wells.

We drive up on Saturday afternoon, so we'll probably just hang out at Disney Village and have dinner there. Then go to DLP on Sunday.

When I went to Disneyland California, we always took healthy snacks for the kids into the park w/us. Is this allowed at DLP?? Don't want to be embarrassed at the gate if it's not. Also, we are taking in our own stroller -- this is not a problem, right?

Lastly, when we go to the Guest Relations desk outside of the park to get our temporary passports, is it recommended to go straight to the passport bureau and get the permanent ones taken care of?

Any other tips will be greatly appreciated to make the most of our one day there.

P.S. I'm still kind of on the fence if I should purchase a 1 day ticket for hubby this trip. I heard that DLP may extend the free child passport offer past November?? Do anyone have any more info on this? I would just feel really bad if it the offer is not extended, then in November I'll have to buy 2 annual passports in addition to the one-day ticket for this coming weekend's trip. What are your thoughts??

I am so looking forward to DLP! We are driving by car so I will post info about the trip as soon as we get back!

I always take our own snacks into the park and have never had a problem and you can take your own buggy into the park.

Can't help with the hotel or AP's sorry.

If you are going to be at DLP on the Saturday afternoon and are planning on buying AP's though I'd be tempted to say go into one of the parks on Saturday, probably WDS would be the best bet. Weekends are busy at the resort and you will most definately need the full day Sunday in the Disneyland Park.

Hope you have a lovely trip. :goodvibes

Remember that you cannot use the Francillien for the first couple of days after purchase so unless hubby is not planning to use the park that wouldn't be an option.
