Going to Paris for 3 weeks late May/early June and will be visiting DLP for a few days in the middle of the first week of June.

What should I expect in terms of crowds/wait times?

Do you think we should do Disneyland Hotel or Newport Bay? (Live in NYC so not into New York Hotel and have stayed at Poly, Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge, Port Orleans, Dolphin in WDW)

Any suggestions for where to eat?

Thanks!

First off, congratulations! We honeymooned in DLP in 2003 and had a fantastic time.

As for the crowds, there may be more Brits there than usual as that is the week of the half term break over here. If none of the other European countries are off it shouldn't make too much difference though.

Check this thread out for people's reviews of all the restaurants at Disneyland Paris, it may help you decide. As might the menus available here at DLRP Magic.

My personal recommendation is The Blue Lagoon - the most romantic location on the resort.

I've only been to the Disneyland Hotel but would definitely stay there again if I could afford it for the following reasons...

* It's four star hotel rather than a three star
* It's decorated in a lovely old-fashioned style
* Hot breakfasts with a view of the castle from the dining room
* Proximity to the park - the ticket barriers are underneath the hotel
* A special fastpass per person per day which you can use to walk straight on to one ride

The Inventions restaurant in the Disneyland Hotel does a lovely (thought not cheap!) buffet both at lunch time and a character dinner in the evenings. We also really liked the Agrabah Cafe and I've heard lots of good things about Walts on Main Street.

HTH!

California Grill in DLH is also worth considering for a special meal. Its more expensive than some of the others but definitely worth it as the food is so nice.
