I'm going to DL in mid September and I'll be 5 months pregnant by then. I know the rollercoasters, SM are off limits, (crap, I LOVE the Tower of Terror:sad2:) but would POTC be ok for me? I know there's a few drops on it. I don't ever remember seeing a warning sign posted on that ride warning pregnant women they shouldn't ride. Do you know?:confused3

Please, please, please do not ride any of the rough rides. Don't even ride the ones with drops.

I asked about going to D-land in the first trimester back in April and got responses from, "I went, rode everything and my baby was fine" to "don't do it, how will you feel if something happens?".

I went to Disneyland in May at 11 weeks pregnant, and rode everything except for the jerky rides. At 17 weeks, my baby passed away. When I delivered my son, we discovered the cord around his neck 5 times. It caused his death.

My Dr's reassures me that riding the rides did not kill him, but I live with guilt anyway. I wonder if I had not gone on the trip, if I had stayed off the rides, would he still be growing within me right now?

I will live with this guilt the rest of my life. I should also be 5 months pregnant. Instead I'm grieving the loss of my son.

It's not worth it for a few minutes of fun.

 I'm so sorry for your loss.

Wow...I'm very sorry for your loss. I know some stranger telling you not to feel guilty because what you did (or didnt' do) isn't what caused your son to pass doesn't help, but, it's not your fault.

To the OP, I went to Disney at 3 months... I would initially say POTC is safe, but I followed all the signs that said "Pregnant women should not ride" :thumbsup2
