Hi Everyone.

We are going to Disneyland in March and I am wondering if we should buy our tickets now or wait until spring. I know in the past they had specials but with Carsland I am guessing that may be off the table. Any suggestions on tickets and places to get them?

Thanks

I have only bought them directly from Disney, but I think a lot of people on here go through getawaytoday.com or Costco.

We are going in February and I will probably wait until after the first of the year to get them, anyway.

You can try AAA, as well as credit unions, and any specials noted on Mousesavers. Just be sure to check the expiration dates to verify that the tickets will still be good for your trip dates.

That's been my thinking too. I'm going in February; I figure there is no hurry, so I'm going to wait to see if they do a late winter/early spring promotion or not.

There has been rumors of another price increase at the end of the year. If you are able to purchase tickets now that will still be in effect for your trip (mainly, they do not have a use by 12/31/2012 date), I would purchase now in case prices go up.

My family is also going in March. I am waiting to see if they do any Spring promotions. I kind of doubt it, but I am in no hurry to buy my tickets. I have heard about the potential price increase. If I hear of that actually happening, I will definitely buy my tickets before the prices go up. I plan on buying my tickets from Get Away Today. They are $5 less than through Disney.

I would buy them now because after this years price raise I would not be surprised if Disney decided to raise the prices again

If you pay attention to the boards on a regular basis (every few days minimum) then there's no reason to panic. If a price increase is announced, it will pop up here (and other places) ahead of time so you can buy your tickets then. if the price increase does not happen and they run a spring promo, you'll miss out.

If you're not one to follow the boards and just come here every week or so, then you may want to change that or just bite the bullet and buy the tickets now and cross it off your list.

Typically, the tickets are good through the end of the year, and you need to get new tickets beginning January 2nd. I would make sure of the expiration date before purchasing any tickets.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Disney do a winter or spring price increase and then offer a spring "special" that matches the prices as they are currently.
