Going to Chef Mickey but staying off site.....

Our plan is to do a water park during the day, go back to our condo, get dressed adn then head out to Chef Mickey's.

Will we have to pay for parking??? How do we get in??? Can I just get directions and go straight to The Contemporary? How does this work?

You will have to pass through the MK toll plaza, but you can tell them you are headed for a Chef M's ADR, and they should wave you through. When you approach the toll plaza, you want to be over in one of the right-hand lanes.

Bring your ADR #/details, just in case, but I don't think you'll need them.

You can drive to Contemporary; the guard at the gate has a list of all ADRs and will check your name off. You'll get a parking pass for 3 hours.

You will have to go through the Magic Kingdom parking entrance. You will NOT have to pay. When you approach the parking booths, go as far over to the right as you can. Not the far right lane as that is for buses. Once you get to the attendant, tell him/her that you are dining at Chef Mickey's. They will tell you how to get there. Then just follow the signs. Once you get to the Contemporary, tell the gate guard that you are dining at Chef Mickey's. Have your confirmation number ready as they will need to check that you do have a valid reservation. The guard will tell you to either self park or valet. That's it.

You pass to the right of the MK gates. You drive all the way down to the Contemporary and at the hotel gate they look up your name and give you a 3 hour parking pass for at the hotel and direct you to an area to park in.

You guys are the BEST!!!! I was so worried that I would have to park and pay. Yeah!
