So tomorrow I'm leaving for Canada! And I'm really excited haha.

I know there's a lot of Canadians on the DIS, so I was wondering if they had any suggestions to make my trip great :) Any good places to visit; resteraunts (sp?); shows; etc.

As far as I know we're going to Niagra falls tomorrow for the 4th of July and then we're also going to the Hockey Hall of Fame, and I think that's the only planned stuff. And then everything else is spontaneus haha.

Any help is appreciated :)

I'm taking the assumption that you're only going to be in the Toronto area.
I guess, obviously, the CN Tower?

I dont know what to do in Ontario other than what you mentioned already, but have fun!

Casa Loma...
You could go there. But I don't get why people go to it, it LOOKS boring.

You could go to the Much Music headquarters and attend a show (but I think you need to get tickets beforehand?). It's like TRL, but Canadian.
Actually I think tomorrow is the JB's Live @ Much thing...

Thanks to who said have fun :) Haha. And to ^^ I'll update where I'm staying when my dad calls me back haha. I'm actually not sure.

YES! I was going to add the CN Tower to the list but I kept forgetting what it was called. Haha.

I would love to see that, but I don't think my parents or brother would dig it too much hahaha. Is it the same channel throughout like..everywhere in Canada?

OMG OMG CAN I COME SEE YOU?
Wait no. Youd have to go through hamilton to get to Toronto!!

eee!

Okay anyways. You should go to wonderland but.. its kinda off of toronto. You should go to the ROM, or the ontario science centre.

The science centre is better.
Go to the CN tower.
Go to..OH if you liek shopping, the eaton centre. It has 5 levels. And by the eaton centre theres the best restuarant.. the pickle barrel. Go there, its gourmet and cheap.

best place ever.

Any questions? I have suggestions for niagara falls! :D

I totally wanna give you a tour. XD Of toronto and niagara falls.

How long are you staying here?

We'll be there July 4th-July 12th. :)
My dad hasn't called back and it's 12:11 and he's at work so I have no idea where we're even staying. My mom doesn't know either lol.

No idea. Hahaha. That's awful.
My dad was supposed to call, but I can probably let you know tomorrow morning. Well it is tomorrow morning for me? But whatever haha.

Yes, Much Music is aired everywhere in Canada.

Pooo I wanna go to Canada lol.

Reminds me of the song "My Girlfriend, Who Lives in Canada" from Avenue Q...

DUDE!! You totally should've asked earlier I could've told you TONS of stuffs.

I live like 20 mins form Toronto and I go there all the time, I could tell you directions and everything lol.

So if you're still here and haven't left yet:
In Niagara Falls:
make sure you go to Clifton Hill...it's SO much fun they have wax museums and haunted houses and all kinds of fun, cheesy touristy things. And it's very "Canadian"ish.
Definitley go to Madame Tussauds wax museum...to ge there you have to walk AAALL the way down Clifton hill and turn right at the lights. You'll see it
Skip Marineland BTW....it SUCKS hardcore.
Also you should go on the Maid of the Mist...it's really crazy!!!

In Toronto:
Go to The Eaton's Centre...and eat @ Mr. GreenJeans!!!
Or @ The Hard Rock Cafe, which is right across from the Eaton's Centre on Younge Street.
Also you should walk around Younge street, it's pretty freakin cool.
CN Tower's a fun thing to do, and you could go on a Ferri ride to Toronto Island from the Harbour Front.
There are tons of outdoor festivals during the summer so check out Younge & Dundas square (which is across from the Eatons Centre), Nathan Phillips Square (which is at Queen St & University St) and the Harbour Front.
Casa Lomas pretty amazing too!!! A great way to spend half a day if you're looking for something to do.
There are soooo many things to do in Toronto...they have alot of information/tourist info booths to help you navigate your way around. It's pretty tough to find things when you're not really sure where you are going.
The Hocky Halls of Fame is cool too! It's on Front St. near Union Station.
OH! And you should definitley go shopping on Queen St WEST (not Queen St east!!!!) It is THE coolest/hippest shopping area in Toronto (besides Kensington Market....if you're into vintage clothes you should check out Kensington market for sure.) And whille you're there go down to Spadina and look around Chinatown!

If you are a JB fan you can stalk them--I hear they are staying @ the Four Seasons in Yorkville (their concert tour is kicking off in Toronto tonight....but if you're in Niagara Falls to watch fireworks tonight you'll miss it)

Anyways...I hope you have a GREAT trip and tell us about it when you get back!!
