Going to B&C after IllumiNations then catching the monorail?

Not sure if this is doable or not. We are a HUGE ice cream family...me being the worst ice cream addict there is. For our Thanksgiving trip I want to include a stop at Beaches & Cream.

My original thought was to see IllumiNations (hopefully via pontoon boat) then head over to B&C for ice cream. Or wait till the night we are doing Candlelight Processional, skip IllumiNations (since we will have seen it already) and then go to B&C.

The problem is HOW do we get back to the Poly? Will Epcot still be open at say 10:30pm (on a non-EMH night) to just walk thru to get the monorail? Or would we have to call a taxi from BC/YC?

The easiest way back would be to take a taxi from the BC.

First of all, you will have a LONG wait at Beaches & cream after Illuminations. Hundreds of other people will have the same idea you do!

I don't think they'll let you back in Epcot that late...and it will probably take you at least that long to get ice cream at B&C, especially if you are on the pontoon boat.

Alternatively, you could take the bus from the BC to the MK if the MK is open late that night. Or you could always take a bus from the BC to DTD then change for a bus to the Poly.

Just be aware that you'll have LOTS of company at B&C after Illuminations. I made the mistake of going there after Illuminations for the first time at B&C. It was a 45 minute wait-the CM said it's always very busy after Illuminations, probably the busiest time for B&C.
