Going to a buffet near closing

Did my dining today— however due to limited ‘Ohana availability I had to move some stuff around and now my Boma reservation is at 9:25. Is it bad to have such a late dining res for a buffet? Do they still refresh that late? Thanks.

Keep checking, you should be able to get a better time. My party would not make it to a dinner that late, ymmv

Oh, I needed a post park closing time. Originally I wanted Ohana at that time and do Boma at like 5:30 on a different day, but they had to swap since there was nothing for Ohana on my preferred day. We’re a couple in our mid 20s, no kids, who usually stay up late and roll into the parks at 11-12.

While you will have no worries about them being open and accommodating your full meal service, I wouldn't do a buffet late like that. You KNOW you will be eating the stuff that's been sitting all night and they will be slow and reluctant at best (if not unwilling) to refresh/refill any empty items that late into the game.

That’s exactly my fear. Ah well, I’ve set up a reservation alert and hope I can grab a late night Ohana 8/16 and I can go back to my original plan!!
