Going the 2nd Weekend in March...Info Please!!!!

Hi,

My family is going to Universal during this time. Can you let me know what the crowds are like? Also we plan on staying at the Hardrock. Is there any special packages that include the Mardi Gras etc....when would they go on sale. Any information would be appreciated.

Much like Disney, Universal gets busy with Spring Breakers all month long.Staying onsite is a great idea and the Resort guest express pass will definitely help navigate any crowds and limit wait times.

We went the second week in March this year, crowds were about average. HP was FULL by the time early admission was over so definitely take advantage of that hour and go straight there, enjoy it and see the rest of the parks later. We stayed at RPR and I couldn't imagine getting done half we did without the express pass. We still missed a ton but we only had two days. I felt like we fit in quite a bit still considering we only had a day at each park. Express pass made every line feel so quick, the only thing I remember waiting for at all was Forbidden Journey but really who minds that? The castle is so awesome I was totally happy to look around a bit.
