Going strong?

No gentle decay here, not as far as most of my annuals are concerned.

My annual salvia, the impatiens, marigolds, begonias, geraniums, verbena, even the snapdragons, are still going strong.......but for how much longer???

My monkshood has just started it's fall display, the sedum is gorgeous, and the icicle pansies are guaranteed to stick around for a while.

What's still blooming in your garden?

Good morning kim.
I still have some marigolds, 4 oclocks, cosmos, impatients, geraniums and my hardy mums are loaded with buds but they havent opened yet.

I'm really ready to hack it all up .

Mums are going wild. Montauk daisies are smiling.

Everything else looks like it's been through the mill.

Except my bulbs.

They're asleep!

Oyyy.....My very confused Delphinium is blooming for the third time this year! The mums I planted about 6 weeks ago are blooming again, and my Joe-Pye Weed is beautiful! There are 3 new shoots on my Penstemon, and the Kniphophia is shooting out too. Everything is soooo confused! They should be sleeping!!!

All of my annuals have been taken away with the recycle garbage man.
