Going Sptember 30 for 21 days

x10, you are most welcome for whatever I was able to do. :)

Might I ask how many are in your party?

I like the Values but others would disagree with me.

It is all according to what you want. We spend little time in our room so it works for us and then there are just the two of us. My favorite moderate is POR as it has a fantastic pool and is so romantic looking at night. I think they can sleep 5.

I always wait until they have codes and good rates but I am thinking that you cannot do things at the last minute because of the distance you have to travel.

If you have questions you can pm me and I will answer as best as I can. I am budget minded and am better at planning things that way but have many good DIS friends who know the richer side of WDW. :wizard:

I was meant to go to England this year but it all fell through. It has always been my dream of a lifetime so I am not giving up. :thumbsup2

BTW, you do know that there is a UK forum on the DIS that has much information too? :teacher:

Hi all thanks for all your post ;)
here one how long do you need in sea world :wave2:

x10, you know what they say about mad dogs and Englishmen? I think part of why I love England so much is their long history, history of being unique and a bit ecentric.

We quite enjoyed Sea World but one day was enough. We would go back again though as it is different from DW and if you love animals it is a delightful way to spend time.

We go for twenty one nights every year. I don't want to sound pompous, that's not it at all. We are DVC members and in order to justify the flight down once a year from our very remote location in Northern Canada, we stay that long. This year is very special in that we are 11 nights at SSR, then a 4 night DVC Member's Cruise, then back to SSR for 6 nights. So, 21 nights altogether. Plus, I have an amazing boss who gives me a grand total of 8 weeks off a year.

Northerngirl, where can I sign up to get a job working with you and your amazing boss! I want 8 weeks too! I'll move from Ontario to NWT!
That's great for you! It's nice when you really enjoy where you work.

Never LOL :rotfl2:

Also hoping to do the Halloween party on the 10th Oct as is my birthday

I keep looing at the things to do over there and am thinking we will not fit it all in.

Someone told us there are secret ways in the park so you miss the Q's
is this ture and if so where can I find out about them

X10 :joker: (MAD AS)

x10, you know us Americans have not gotten far from our roots and have kept the best of the Motherland (whatever that might be for any of us) and even if we have nary a drop of English blood we like to think of ourselves as being like the best of you in being able to speak our minds and standing up when it counts. :cheer2:

I am a bit forlorn as my niece who lived right outside of London has recently been transported back to the States taking my only chance to visit England with her. Oh, well, she might get switched back one day. One can always hope. I do so look forward to that English cooking. The heck with the castles. :lmao:

I fear you are correct in that you will NOT be able to fit it all in. The only cure is repeated doses of DW, taken on a regular basis until you DO fit it all in. Of course that will never happen as they are always changing things. Love of all things Disney is a chronic conditon in that it is treatable but not curable.

If I knew what things you wanted to see the most I might be able to give you some tips on how to avoid cues to a certain extent.

Number one rule, always go to the park that had EMH the day before as it will be the least crowded.

Number two, if you like the big thrill rides that everyone one wants, get there early, get your FP's and go ride something else while you wait. Remember that you can return late for a FP, just not early. You can also get into these rides while parades and other crowd gobbling activities are going on.

Feel free to PM me if I can help in any way.

I will be singing happy birthday to you as I wend my way back toward home on the 10th as that is our check out day.

northerngirl, you do not sound pompous at all, just smart and lucky. :thumbsup2

I have medical problems and so we have to go for long times so that I do not have to hurry. It takes away from my fun and puts me at risk of spending time in a hospital and that is not the way I prefer to spend my vacation time.

We are going for one long trip this year instead of two because of several reasons and one of them is how much we save on the expenses back and forth once instead of twice. Naturally I will spend the money saved on something else though. :rotfl2: La Nouba, The Garden Tour and an Illuminations Cruise come to mind. :cheer2:
