Going rate for small addon BWV

What is the asking price for 25-50 point add on at BWV's .We have Feb use year.Can we go resale or only through DVC?

you can buy direct for $115 per pt (per dvcnews.com) or add-on for a fraction of that.

finding a resale BWV with a feb UY for the right number of pts might take longer, though.

58.00 pp was for sure resale. If you have time keep looking, smaller contracts get snatched up quickly and usually sell for more then say 160 point contract. good luck

DVC will typically not discount a smaller contract (usually under 100 pts)...so expect to pay $115 per pt if you go direct.

Buying direct would get the points to your account faster, you would get all of the points based on your UY (if you have an April UY & buy in March, you would get 2011 points that you could bank. Sometimes resales are stripped), and buying direct, your points could be used for the Disney Collection.

Does that cost include all closing costs which could easily add up to $10 a point for 30 points. For 25-30 points it's often better just to do it retail.

No, it did not include closing costs. If I had it to do over I probably would just go through Disney. I added a small 40 point OKW contract a few years back and it was alot quicker and no hassle.

I have a question - When Disney takes back contracts. Can they change them? For example, could they take 1 200 point contract and create 2 100 point contracts?

I think changing UY would be harder, but I dont' see why they couldn't break up larger contracts or combine smaller ones if someone wanted to buy it.

I could be wrong but I think they just go back into the pool of available points DVD sells. However, I do think the use year is locked.

Yes they could and it says so in the POS. I don't think they could change UY though, at least not feasibly.
