This will be our first year traveling over a busy holiday...so I'd love to see how other people have their week planned.

We fly in late Friday but are staying at Universal for the first night to give DD15 some Harry Potter time (with early entry and express pass)

We are rope drop people, don't take breaks but leave the park around 5 for the day.

Sunday - MK
BBB for DD7 at 8:15
Pirates League for DD10 at 10:25
Dinner at Chef Mickey at 5

Monday - EPCOT
Lunch at Le Cellier at 11

Tuesday - Back to US/IoA (DH may take younger to girls to a WDW park instead)

Wed - DHS
Lining up early for Jedi Academy

Thurs - Thanksgiving -DHS in the morning then dinner in the house we are renting then football...lol

Friday - MK

Saturday - EPCOT morning then off to the airport :(

How about you...and if you are a return visitor over Thanksgiving do you have any hints/tips to share?

My extended family have been doing a grand gathering every other thanksgiving since '99.
I had never gone to the parks on Thanksgiving during any of these trips until '09. We had a big brunch in the room and headed out to MK around 10:30am. Code blue.

I have never planned any real part of the past trips, other than saying- let's do Lilo and Stitch breakfast. Thanks to Josh and easywdw.com, I have a better knowledge of what to expect this time around.

Vacationing at Disney World from November 18-25th. Traveling from Hartford on a flight that should arrive around 9:30am. Two adults and three kids, ages 4, 6 and 8. Staying at the Boardwalk villas. We have 8 day park hoppers and will have one stroller :). There are a total of 22 of us for the grand gathering.

Day 1-(Fri Nov 18) - Arrival Day; Flight arrives 9:30am Check-in; or leave carry-ons will Bell Services and then go to Magic Kingdom; Others in our party will arrive throughout the morning & afternoon. Dinner will be pizza back in the grand villa.

Day 2-(Sat 19) - If we get up early enough then we will RD EMH HS; If not then we will RD MK mid-day break; after break hop over to MK and get a fast pass for a mountain ride.; 4:00 dinner at FW Hoop-dee-doo. After show use fast pass and head back to BWV.

Day 3-(Sun 20) - If we made it up for HS yesterday then RD Magic Kingdom; If not then RD HS mid-day break; dinner at 4:30pm Chef Mickey's.

Day 4-(Mon 21) - all the little princesses have ADR at Akershus. The boys will RD EP; mid-day break; dinner not scheduled. Maybe eat at the boardwalk. Put the kids to bed and head over to ESPN with the older boys for MNF Pats Chiefs.

Day 5-(Tues 22) - RD EMH EP- FP and ride soarin. Ride TT. Take monorail or cab to Polynesian for Lilo and Stich breakfast at 9:30am. After breakfast head over to AK for a few hours.

Day 6-(Wed 23) -RD MK and stay until lunch time. Get in room sitter and then Adult dinner at France.

Day 7-(Thurs 24 thanksgiving) - RD AK ; brunch back in the grand villa; mid-day break; evening in HS for fantasmic

Day 8-(Fri 25) - Flight leaves MCO at 6:30pm so I am looking to check out and check our luggage at BWV and leave our carry on's with Bell services and hit MK so each of my 3 kids can do at least one last ride. I assume ME will pick us up around 3:30 so I think this is doable.

I would check out the easywdw.com site as it is very helpful.
I am a long time lurker here and constantly am searching threads for helpful info.
I also have looked into touringplans.com and may do ridemax.com.
Have fun and we'll see you at Chef Mickey's :)
