Has anyone used the updated app to specifically fly out of/within Canada since the 30th — ie load up your QR code? We flew back from MCO last night and I was trying to check my mom in for her flight today. The app would not take the pic I had of her QR code nor give the option to scan it. I went through the whole process only to have it say no boarding pass/see agent at airport— so I undid the check in process. Tried this morning and used the website via my phone; of course it wanted to keep opening the app so I deleted the app. Was able to check her in via scanning the code. To make matters worse, I specifically paid for a close to the front seat to be on the safe side esp since the timing was tight w our MCO flight, and they punted the seat out of her account!! So now she’s farther back. I have a call back scheduled for next Tuesday; get my seat refund. I suspect the pic needs to be of the QR code up close (not the actual full document) for their system to recognize it; but if someone has experience with it working pls share. Thx
