Going on my honeymoon to DW!!!!

Hi everyone!

I just found this website and was reading the threads so I thought i would post one too. I am a Disney veteran, well I like to think of myself as one at least. I have been to DW 6 times and stayed at a DW resort 5. I'm getting married in January '06 and my soon to be husband and I will be going to DW for our honeymoon!!!!! I'm thrilled!!!!!!!!!!!! But he's never been there. We will be staying there for 6 nights/7 days and have tickets to all the parks and so forth. Does any one have any suggestions of romantic things we can do? Or could you all share some of your experiences during your DW honeymoon? Last time I went to DW was 2 years ago and marriage wasn't even crossing my mind so I feel like I don't know what to do :-(. I really want to make this trip to DW the best trip ever! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone!

Welcome. You will learn more about Disney here then you ever wanted to know.

We just got married at the Wilderness Lodge in June. We too love WDW. already I am planning our next trip.

Two of the things I did to suprise my husband the week we were there to get married was I signed him up for the Richard Petty Driving Experience. That was my wedding gift to him. He absolutely loved it! It was expensive, but well, what the heck. He's worth it. So if your fiance has an interest in NASCAR, you could check into that.

I also booked the two of us on the Segway tour at Epcot. That was a total blast! We are definetly doing it again.

There are lots of things you can do to suprise him and make it a special week. Where are you staying? Have a look around these boards and you'll gets tons of ideas.

I agree with the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Although expensive, it is wonderful. My husband and I both did it and we had the best time.

We were married at home and stayed at WL for our honeymoon. One thing I arranged was to have a special romantic dinner for both of us on the beach at GF. It was wonderful and romantic and he loved it!!! Also, we had the honeymoon pictures taken at the MK. It was new back then, but we had a wonderful time and have the best pictures at the castle and all over the park. This is still one of our fave things about our honeymoon.

Also, we both had a couple's massage. I though my husband would NEVER go for it, but he loved it, although he will never admit to anyone other than me.
