Going on 1st day of After Hours Party BUT not going to party?

Anyone want to speculate? I am planning on going to MK Thursday 4/14/16, and plan on staying possibly to closing at 11 pm. The $150 party starts at 11 pm. So does that mean if I want to get in line for 7 Dwarfs Mine Train at 10:55 pm (Which I have done before at closing time, prior to MVMCP party) will I be able to? I am ASSUMING that this will work the same way, but I don't want people coming back and saying, well I paid $150 per person I want an Empty park, because uh I am still paying a ridiculous amount for a regular park ticket.

Should work like any other day--show up before normal park close at any operating attraction and they'll let you in. If they did not, I would visit Guest Relations on my way out. I would not care about anyone else's thoughts.

That's what I was thinking, unfortunately recent changes have made me doubt whether Disney will do the "right thing".

I wouldn't worry, at least on this point. They have regular operating hours, you have a ticket. You get any less than those hours, they should get a (polite) earful.

What he said. I bet people paying for after hours won't consider they'll have to wait the first chunk of their party for the lines to empty. I wonder if Disney really thought this through.

Presumably if you are in line you will be allowed to ride.

Now....this is purely a guess on my part. I'm guessing that people with after dark wristbands might be let into the fads pass line and ultimately still ride ahead of you. But that is only my personal guess. I'll find out next Thursday, and I'll report back afterwards.

Interesting thought. But won't that just make it take even longer to clear people through the line?

I wondered if they would let morning people in through the fastpasss line once the park opens to regular park goers.

It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out.

Regardless of what I think of these offerings, I hope you have a fabulous time.

I am hoping this works out, everyone has a great time, I guess I am playing devil's advocate. My concern is that Disney goes Cedar Fair/Six Flags mode and shuts down the lines early. I wouldn't be thrilled but if they plan on doing this they should be advising guests prior to entering the park. My other concern is that they don't close the line early so that on 7 Dwarfs those paying the $150 will still have 30-60 mins wait at 11 pm, because of those already in line... Hmm I don't know if I was paying $150 if I would be happy about that. Again, everything could work out fine, no one knows anything is any different, gets everything they want and life is beautiful.

The After Hours guests are paying a more ridiculous amount for their ticket.

Great thought. If Disney does this then they are brilliant. Still let the day guests get in that line until the last minute no argument BUT let those who paid the big bucks use FP+ line so they can get their monies worth. No bad guy moves. And that is how they hand EMH for guests riding and for the BOG early birds they go in 7DMT FP+ line.
