Last minute 1-day visit. Staying at Disneyland Hotel. I realize there are many changes. I haven’t been at DLR in 20 years, WDW 3 years. Is there still fp? Do they do the bracelet thing at DLR? I’ve been trying to research but not having much luck. I just dl the app. Taking toddler grandbaby, wish me luck

No fast passes at this time and no bracelets.

No FP, but they still do Rider Switch if you are bringing another adult with the grandbaby. New feature for dining is Mobile Order, where you can order your food in advance and then just pick it up at the designated time; seems like a good thing for families. Also, because reservations are nearly impossible to obtain for the sit-down restaurants, some of them offer a "Walk-Up Queue" through the DL App, where you can put your name in. I'm guessing one has to do that an hour or two ahead, at least; haven't tried it yet.

We are going to DLR this weekend for our first visit in several years. Have a fun trip!

Since you downloaded the app, use it all this week checking out the various wait times of the rides you want to do with the toddler. That way you will know what to expect when you get there and can know when a wait is about as short as it is going to get, and when it is longer than usual.

The mobile dining is great, but if you do want to make reservations, just keep checking for the places you want every day. The good news is, so many people are in the same boat right now, because all the usual things people have been doing with FP and planning around parades and character meet and greets are out the window at the moment

Sounds like fun. As above, no FastPass as of yet and DL does not use magic bands, the tickets are a thick cardboard medium. The app will tell you wait times, allow you to use mobile order for food, make restaurant reservations if available and other information.

Couple of important things though. Have you made park reservations for the day you want to go? If not, you need to purchase your tickets, link them in the app (having created a Disneyland account) and make a reservation for the day you wish to enter. Without a reservation, you won’t get in.

2nd thing is are you getting parkhoppers? If so be aware you can’t park hop until 1pm.
