Hi all-I am new to these boards! I read the unofficial guide to Disney and suprised my daughter with a trip-(a mom and me) away from little brother and hubby. We arrive Jan 29-Feb 2. I plan to have a small backpack with snacks etc and a hidden money belt for moola, hotel key, etc.... Is there a place to put the backpack while we are on rides or do I need to get a locker-hate to have to go back and forth just to get some food..... Second, we are going to the pirate and princess party-what should we expect with this??? Thanks for these boards as I feel prepared-I think. This will be a first trip for both of us! We did Disney Paris a few years ago. My daughter is 7 1/2-TIA for advice! pirate:

You can rent a locker but it is easier to just take your backpack on the rides. There are always places on each ride to store your purse, backpack or camera. (netted areas in front of you or underneath your seat)

I am sorry I cannot help with the P&P party---never been.

:welcome: I always have a backpack with me too, and take it on all the rides. There is plenty of room at your feet, and on the wilder rides, like Thunder Mountain, there is a netted area to stow it in front of you.
Welcome to the boards!!!

Welcome! The lockers are up front at MK, and I assume it's like that pretty much at all parks. So it is a pain to keep stuff in there. Just pack your back pack as light as you can. I always take one too.
