Going May 28-June3 Crowds?

Anyone been here this time of year. I know about July, WOW! way to many people and the lines are long, but what about May 28-June 3.

Can anybody tell me from your past trips what these times are like? Getting kind of worried. I thought this time would be a little better than July but it doesn't seem that way.

Just a guess, but I don't think it will be as crowded for you this time, because as of late May a lot of kids are still in school around the country. We've been using our timeshare week in Orlando in mid/late May, and have found the parks (and Orlando in general) to be quite bearable.

We'll be there that time and was there last year at the same time. I really didn't think the crowds were bad at all. Now last year it rained almost everyday so I don't know if that had something to do with it. I was glad it rained because it was HOT!!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the same crowd level again!

Well I live in South Florida and the children here end school about the 3rd week of may. I also know my friends daughter in Jacksonville (north fla) ends the same time so it may be busy... not as busy as July but still pretty busy! Getting to the parks first thing and using fast pass will allow lines to be managable.

Schools are out pretty much all across the South, it's the Northern schools that go until 2nd or 3rd week in June. We go every year for the week of Memorial Day and stay through first weekend in June. The crowds are not that bad, it won't be empty, but not near as bad as July and August. Just avoid MK on first Saturday in June, crowds are huge due to Gay Day celebration going on. We always have a great time this week, use Fastpass, do your main attractions first, and get ADR's for TS meals. The rain was a problem last year, we had two days late in the week that it rained the entire day, not good! But, some years we have no rain.

Count us in too! We are leaving 5/28-6/9 and just cannot wait! We went last year for Mother's day and the weather was beautiful! It was starting to get hot towards the end of our trip though, hope it's not too bad. See you all there

We went last year at about this same time. The crowds were moderate, but we managed to have a really good time. If I am not mistaking, these are the dates for Gay days at Disney so be aware that this might increase the crowds. I don't want to offend anybody. My husband and I went to Pleasure Island that weekend not knowing. So I just want to inform other people. We had a great time and met some really great people.
There were a lot of people checking into the resorts when we were checking out! Summer had begun.

May 30th to June 3rd club right here! We will be at DAK Lodge followed by 7 nights on the Magic. Here is to hoping for limited crowds and nice weather! I am guessing by the park hours it will be somewhat crowded but not overwhelming. I am going with expectations of waiting about 30mins to an hour for the major rides and fastpasses being 2hrs out, except Soarin and EE.

We are also going to be there that week. Hoping for moderate crowds. Went the week before last year and it was great, lots of people but the lines were not bad. I would start packing tonight but the family wants their clothes for school. I do have a secret box for my must have Disney stuff hidden in my room. We will be staying offsite and spending part of the week visiting friends and family. We will have only three park days so small crowds will really help us out. Here's hoping for a great Disney week

Count us in too! May 29 - June 3! Staying at CSR and trying to decide to use the extra magic hours or to avoid them. What do you think? I need to make ADRs!

Cant wait, but there is no way the parks will be as crowded as July and August, Northern schools dont get out for a couple of more weeks, and for most of the locals, gay days should keep alot of them home also ( I hope)

Gay Day is June 3, and the MK will be insanely crowded that Sat. Pick a different park and you should be fine.

Expect PI and the DTD restaurants to be quite crowded from the 1st thru the 4th.
