Going March 26...Would war change your plans?

I am leaving for WDW on March 27th with a friend of mine. This will be my first girls only trip since my Son was born 7 years ago. I am a bit apprehensive about being so far away from my DH and kids during this time. I am not really worried about flying or about being at WDW during this time, it is just being away from my family during this time that is bothering me. We went to WDW 2 weeks after 9/11 last year and I was not as worried because I was with my family.

By the way, when were at WDW after 9/11 it was a no-fly zone at the time, this made me feel a bit safer. I never realized it was lifted and when I went down in May there was a plane flying by and I kind of paniced.

The parks should be very secure. More secure than any shopping mall/center in the country!

Going supports the US economy and way of life. It shows we can't be bullied by threats.
