Going June 15 to June 22

Ok YIPPEE SKIPPY - I have taken the plunge and purchased air line tickets for June Now can someone tell me just how bad is the :

WEATHER ??? we are used to traveling in the winter ( Dec 2001 was about 80ish each day --- Dec 2002 was about 60ish each day )

CROWDS ???? we will be off site this trip ( HI maingate East ) so can't to EE . I know not to hit parks that have EE that day.. We have 4 day hoppers so that is one park per day . ( i did check out historic hours and saw that parks were open MK 9-10/ E 9-9 / MGM 9-10 / AK 9-6 )

We went last year 2002 at the exact same dates and it rained,rained and rained.I'm talking all day and clear off in the evening and early morning.We had to adjust our times for touring the parks. Missed all the day time parades.But still had a great time.I had to wear warm clothes in the evening it was downright chilly! I think the weather last year was atypical because back in 99 it rained only short periods and then turned hot and sticky.Have fun no matter what the weather.We did and had a blast.Going back July 5th-11th to suffer with heat and crowds.

Our family has done disney for the last 5 years on the exact days you are down there. Granted last year was terrible with the rain but the other years were not that bad. It is definitly better then going in Aug. (we have done that month as well). Mostly you will get rain around mid day for a little bit and then it would get really hot after. We usually have to take a mid day break from the heat and return to the parks in the evening. The heat would be around upper 80's to lower 90's.

We were there last year around this time and it was very wet. We still had a wonderful time. We are going to be there this year from June 15-June 23. We are really looking forward to it. A good thing about the rain is that sometimes it helps clear the parks and then the lines aren't as long. We will be staying at the Yacht Club and AKL. It will be my DH My DD (17) and my DS ( 14). Maybe we will see you there.

I guess i should make sure we all have 2 pair of shoes then if it can get very wet !!! Thanks for the input.. I need a good touring plans as we will only have a 4 day hopper and one plus to use this trip ( I think we will only do MK, E , AK then if they have fantasmic a quick run to MGM ) Thanks for any more advice ! Hi Michelle,


Hows everthing? hope all is well. We are just going to miss you - we are going down June 22nd - 30th.

I don't know about June but last July it was 95degrees hazy hot and VEERRYY HUMID - but it was the same as being in MA and we did a lot of pool hopping - and didn't go to the parks everyday - and when we did go we went in the late afternnoon - we had a blast! - Crowds were large but not wall to wall - we drank a lot of water and took breaks and kept a slower pace. It couldn't have been that bad beacuse we are going in June this year!

Hope you have a GREAT time - Maybe we will see you guys next December if you go - we are - 1st week of december.

OH bummer !!!! I am sorry we are missing you but actually this is a surprise trip for my kids.. We have a wedding in Kentucky ( bowling green ) and then will drive to disney for vacation !! I figured that it really is only costing me about $500 more then spending the week in Nashville so why not ! We can't go this Dec our next trip isn't going to be until late Oct 2004 !! I hope you have a great trip ( both times ) Michelle
