Thinking of going down to the World mid May.so please is it very humid the the temps. high? Usually do Oct Dec or Jan......Have been there in mid April and i thought it a bit warm. I just dont take the heat well......

May is a great time. We go almost every May.

It's not like August! It won't feel that hot, and in fact there's a chance you'll need a light jacket after the sun goes down.

It probably depends more on where you're coming from as to how it feels. If you've just gone through a bitter cold winter, and still have a little of that insulating winter fat on, it'll seem warmer to you. If you're coming from a more temperate area, it's great.

Keep in mind the humidity is still pretty low (unlike August, as mentioned), so the higher temperatures don't have the same feel to them.

Go out West to Arizona and 95 degrees is downright comfortable. But I'll admit, when it gets to 110 degrees, that's hot.

Likewise WDW in May, even if it's 90 degrees with 60% R.H., it feels just fine.

So that's what it is!!....I'll let my pants know they can expect to not be so snug in a few more weeks :rotfl: :rotfl:

We go every year...early - mid May.
The weather is perfect...we always go for 8-9 days & during the past 3 Mays, it has only rained once each trip & just during the afternoon a bit.

As the previous poster said, it can (and does) get cool in the evenings.
We usually wear jeans if we are going to a park in the evenings.

Last May, we had to leave the MK around 10pm because DS8 was cold & we could not find a long-sleeved shirt to buy him at any gift shop!! All we saw were short-sleeved t-shirts. We had planned to stay late (they were open for EMH until about 1am that night, but we headed back to POP.

**Last May, during our 9 day stay at CBR, the only time we saw love bugs during the entire trip was at the CBR pool. We also never saw any mosquitos.
