After all of our debating on when to go, where to go.... we booked it yesterday. We are going July 6 -13. We got on a direct flight, which surprised me. Park Hopper Passes and a day at KBF. I am so excited, and the kids don't even know yet.

Ummm.. how do I do the timeclock/countdown?

good for you!!! :D
I'm going in July too!!

for the countdown clock thingie....go to the tech support board....there is a thread there with instructions

We're going down from the 3rd until the 10th!

I am half afraid of this time because I've heard it rains alotl. But heck, I went in August last year and it rained A LOT so Ithought i'd bump it up a little.

We just booked our luau dinner at the poly and I'd recommend you start to think about where you're going to want to eat that is special since it'sa busy time. Priority seating is the way to go :)

Pre-book now?? We'll have to check that one out. Any recommendations - moderate cost wise? Since we bumped this trip up so much we'll have to watch the spending a little closer.

I'm an idiot. Because I'm going to WDW not WDL. Sorry

But I know for DisneyWORLD the places to eat are very busy. I don't believe it costs you anything if you want to have priority seating but it's kind of like making reservations 90 days in advance. Anywhere you think you MIGHT go, make a reservation! It's better to try and be successful than to wait in line FOREVAH! LOL

we're going from the 3rd to the 12th but we're starting out in San Diego.
I read it was gloomy in June but I never read about a lot of rain in July? Anybody here that knows for sure? And how hot does it get? Not as bad as Florida I hope

I have been to WDW many times in July....there were always showers but they were over quickly and it was always a welcome relief ;)

melissa....when I read your first reply....I got confused....had to back out to see where I was...I thought I had made a mistake :teeth:

I'll be there July 16-20 for DL's 49th Birthday!

Ive been going in July for 3 years now and its never rained while I was there (knock on wood)

I am also going to Disneyland with my girlfriend on Sunday - July 11th and Monday July 12th. We will be in L.A. for 3 days before that so we had to drive down to Anaheim. My girlfriend has never been to DL/CA, so I will be her tour guide. Can't wait!

I guess we're going if Air Canada stays in business that long... that's who we're booked on. The travel agent assured me on Tuesday it was safe, but now I'm really wondering. :(

SKFamily,

Glad to hear you've got things worked out and are headed to DL. I don't think you'll have to worry about showers in July ... just the crowds!!! Make sure you read all the threads to study up on Fast Passes. There's some really great advice on these forums. Are you staying on-site, or off? Also, you will need Priority Seating if you are going to do any character meals. You will also need it for Blue Bayou. If you haven't already eaten there, it's a must. Go during lunch hours when the prices are more reasonable and ask for waterside seating.

Have Fun!!!
