Hi,

I'm going to do Disney and Universal in January 2014. I'm currently thinking the trip will start on the 7th. When would you start looking for hotel and tickets. I am planning that we will stay at one of the value resorts (I'm hoping for the new Animation one).

I would book as soon as you can since that is abou the time Disney has a marathon and rooms book up fast.

Yeah the marathon happens in January. If you know you are going then it cant hurt to book the rooms now if you know where you want to stay. Another option may be to just hold off until the marathon dates are released for next year so you can avoid that if you want.

On the Disney website you can only book packages up until Dec 31 2013..nothing for 2014 yet!

You can call and book. We did for the Fort for January 2014. Not online yet, though.

Did you book a room only or a package? we usually wait til we can book online but I'd be happy calling and doing it sooner
