Going in Jan for only 2 days, still need .....

I am going in January for only 2 days/2 parks. Do I still need to buy the tickets in advance? Or a the gate? I would like some FastPasses but without the tickets, can't get them?
And would I get Magic Bands?

You can buy your tickets at the gate. If you buy them now you'll be able to book your FP's ahead of time though. You only get Magic Bands (free) with a resort stay.

You can't book FPs without tickets.
