We had our 7th trip last month, all but one April trip were in August. This year we are going in February (yes, I know we are going during Spring Break) but due to Easter being so in late April, we wanted to get another trip in before August..February just works out.

I am an uber-planner, and am at a loss on what to expect and what to take. We drive, so space isn't much of a problem!!

Any tips would be appreciated!!:confused3

Crowd-wise (not to state the obvious) the week that includes Presidents Day is much more busy than the rest of the month. If you've been during Easter then you know how to deal with crowds like that.

Weather-wise it's all over the place. During our first February trip (2008) the daytime highs were in the 70's and 80's. This year the daytime temps were only in the 50's (except one day in the low 70's) and it got down into the 30's overnight. Botton-line, watch the forcast and bring a heavy coat just in case.

Ditto to the above. Also, make sure you have dining ressies. Last year, we noticed a few times during Pres week that they had a board by MK City Hall stating that there were no dinner ressies at MK left for that day. We always make ours ahead of time so we had no problem. If you want table service, I'd make sure I reserved well in advance, no matter which park you wanted to eat in. We also noticed last year that it was much more crowded during Pres. week than in years past.

make sure you pack for all types of weather. When we went in Febraury, a few days it was 70-80 and then at night it would low 60's. Then the last 2 days it was really cold that we had coat and gloves the whole day.

were going feb 11th to 25th. i didn't realize when i booked it was presidents week(don't shoot me im canadian! lol) dd started school this year and were hosting the canada winter games those two weeks. school will be shut down then so what better time to go to disney? im leary of the crowds, but once again we'll deal!

we did disney the first week of feb in 05 and it was quite cool. i've talked to a fellow dis'er and she lives in florida. her advice was to pack and dress in layers. so that's our plan, layers, hoodies and perhaps those stretchy mittens you can get at the dollar store. hmmm maybe with it being cooler we can cut back on our water order! lol

enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the advice..layers it will be!! We are driving from upstate NY, so heavy coats are coming with us !!

And, I will make some dining ressies..we usually just do counter service, but this trip I want a few sit down meals where I am served!!

so are ours! were in nova scotia, so the dead of feb is usually -30 or so now that's celcius, but man it's flipping cold! perhaps ill take my 3 in one just incase!
