We are going in the first week of February, do we need the dinner package for Fantasmic in order to avoid super long waits?

I've read that we would need to get there kind of early even for the dinner package, so I am thinking in low crowd times, the wait for regular Fantasmic and the wait for package seats might be similar?

Going back and forth. DH really wants to eat good food, but doesn't want to wait in line with the kiddos for forever! :)

We've actually done fantasmic both ways. I believe with the dinner package you are supposed to be there 45 minutes early. (forgive me if this is wrong). We were just there in February, and got to Fantasmic about 30 minutes early (without the dinner package), and had seats that were just fine. IMO, the package during a slower time such as Feb, is not necessary. Enjoy!

Thanks windi. That's what I was thinking, but wanted to hear from some folks with experience.

Another thing to keep in mind, if Fantasmic is showing at 7:00, then the last seating for the dining package is usually 4:30. Don't know if you mind eating that ealy or not. We eat a TS lunch and then grab counter service to go for dinner and head to the theatre about 45 mins early and eat our food there.

The day I'm going there are 2 shows according to the Feb 08 calendar! So I'm going to the 2nd show which I hear is less crowded and eating at Mama Melrosa's at 6p.m. Anyone any tips on what to order. I know I want Tiramasu for dessert!!
