Going Home In Two Weeks! Studio Info.

We will be going home OKW in about two weeks are so. We have ressie's for a studio at OKW for four nights and a studio at BWV for seven nights. This will be our first DVC trip. We haven't been to Disney in many, many years. We are taking our children 4 years old DS and DD. Studio equipment....what should we bring that you know they do not have. Such as a hair dryer, coffee pot, etc. Any info on those two resorts would be greatly appreciated.

The studios have a small refrigerator,a microwave,a coffeemaker, and there are hairdryers in the bathrooms.

You'll also find 4 mugs, 4 glasses and paper plates with plastic utensils.

Since toiletries/coffee are not replenished daily when staying on points, you may want to bring more of these items.

For guests staying in studios, there are complimentary laundry facilities, but you will need to provide your own detergent. (There are vending machines if you don't want to bring your own.)

Even though they supply paper bowls & spoons, we brought some small, plastic bowls & cheapy spoons to reuse since we were eating breakfast most days in the room.

Welcome home. A BWV studio has a small wet bar, small ref, micowave, 4 cups, 4 glasses, paper dishes, forks etc. Dish soap. cloth and paper towels. One hair dryer, coffee pot, some creamer and sugar. Their bathroom is not light well and small. They have one queen bed and pull out double size sofa bed, samll round table and 2 chairs. You can order room service here and it is a treat but costly. glad you are going to see both OKW & BWV that you will know the difference. Enjoy

I would suggest that you bring ziploc bags. With your small children, ziploc bags come in handy for snacks and stuff. We bring snacks for our kids and I also brought juice boxes because again that is what our kids like. I also brought a couple of small tupperware bowls that we used for cereal and also for the microwaveable Mac-N-Cheese, I brought a box of those. We really didn't eat meals except for a quick breakfast, but you know how little ones are and how they like to snack and stuff. The ziplocs also come in handy for wet clothes and for keeping cameras and wallets dry if it is raining, I brought various sizes of ziplocs. Glad I did, it rained every single day back in June!!!

I just want to add that we always stay in a std studio, and we love it. It is perfect size for our family right now, it is me, dh, dd (6) and ds (1).
