Well we just finished one vacation now we have to move on to the next one six months away! We will be going home to BW for Thanksgiving and the kids are concerned it will be too cold especially for Blizzard Beach. What do you think?

I love these kinds of questions and can't wait to see what other people write! I see you are from a cold place so your definition of cold is probably different from mine. I was raised in South Louisiana (very hot and humid) and DH was raised in Jacksonville, Florida (pretty hot and humid.) We have been to Orlando in November several times and it has never been warm enough for us to swim. The pools are heated but the air will most likely be cool. However, fall and spring are unpredictable at best. I would bring swimsuits, shorts, pants, and jackets. We currently live in a cold place and I have a theory that people up here are born with different internal thermostats. We went for a walk the other day and I was freezing. I had on pants, along sleeved shirt and a couderoy (sp?) jacket. We saw a couple of toddler playing outside with pants, SHORT sleeves, and NO SHOES. I guess people see April on the calendar and think it is warm! When we got home I turned on the weather channell and it was 43 degrees with a wind chill temp of 37!!! Sounds like child abuse to me but they were not complaining. I wonder if doctors have ever studied my internal thermostat theory? People up here think 50 is warm and 75 is hot. I think the 80's are great!!!!..... We are southerners living in a COLD, COLD place!.....Have fun! Lacee

If it 70 and the pools are heated they will be happy especially after the winter we just came through!

We are always there during Nov and Dec. and I can tell you this: You absolutely could maybe might possibly need a sweater-or not. Mostly though, you should be fine. At Blizzard beach, the only real issue is wind. If your wet, the temp is 70f and your standing in a slide line, you will be cold if it's windy.

yup, when I ahve been there in Nv. (which is my favorite time to go). There has been highs from 50 to 80.

this past Nov/Dec (Thanksgiving wknd and wk after) was cold and rainy - we often wore long pants & sweatshirts
On the last Fri (wk after turkey day) we went back to the room midday for our winter coats!
