Going from Picasa 3 to Lightroom 5

After seeing various posts on Lightroom 5, this is first on Santa's list, but I have a question. Can I import all my pics to Lightroom so I can replay with them? Has anybody done this? Thanks

As long as the photos are on your hard drive, pretty easy to import them into lightroom.

Make sure u start shooting in RAW (in case you already aren't) so u can maximize your PP!

You will have to export from aperture then import into light room. Pointing Lightroom at the aperture library will not get you there.

You might want to consider keeping Aperture and starting clean with lightroom or only exporting your raw photos for say the last year.

Whats more important is to have a system, I recommend the Dam Book to figure everything out.
