Going from Boulder Ridge to Bay Lake

You can take the bus to Disney Springs. There are buses there to all of the other resorts.

I read somewhere that the reason that the boats didn’t come back to do that three resort loop was because CR didn’t want to pay to have it..possibly the other resorts didn’t either…but it sounded like the decision had a financial element to it.

The boats were cancelled first, then Trail's End.

One of the boat cast members told me that they would all love to restart the resort loop, but the decision was made by someone higher up.

He also told me that guests can send in comments requesting the "blue" boat line to come back.

He was also of the opinion that the resort boats being cancelled affected traffic to Trail's End which contributed to it's closure.

Last December I overheard a guest ask one of the boat Captains on the WL boat about this & the boat Captain said that the GM at the Contemp. didn’t want to pay for the boats. But I assume boat captains & bus drivers are in the same category when it comes to how reliable a WDW rumor is.

yeah sounds like people blaming a manager. What makes more sense is just the fact that covid allowed them to cut it and they decided that adding it back was not worth the money as people got away with it for a while. Its more niche/luxury and you can go other routes including minnie van they make money on.

I personally feel it is one of my top 5 complaints about modern WDW since covid. number one is magic express personally but as a BLT owner and someone who eats at all the resorts each time.... I often skip FW and WL now because of this change.

Maybe they decided that the bus between FW and WL was enough, and of course anyone who wants to go from FW or WL to CR can simply take the MK boat or bus and walk over.
