Going from AKL to Sea World...Lynx or Taxi?

There will be 4 of us...1 adult, 3 kids. I was planning to Bus to MK then take the Express Monorail to the TTC and pick up the Lynx bus. But it's just me this trip trying to keep track of my three boys and I want this trip to be as stress free as possible!!!

How much more would it cost for a taxi from AKL to Sea World? How much time would the taxi save vs. the busses?

I do not know how long the bus will take, it seems to me I have seen people post that you should give yourself about an hour.
The cost of a cab will probably run about $23 each way plus tip.
