We decided to visit WDW for one day on the way to the parents Christmas week. We want to see the two attractions that opened after we were there in July - Mission: Space and Mickey's Philharmagic. We'll be there the 22nd.

Question -
Which order should we do the two - go to EPCOT first and get fastpasses for MS and then go to MK or vice versa?

Does Philharmagic have show times like the Lion King did before it or is it more like HISTA?

When would be the best time to leave EPCOT to head over to MK?

Is there anything else new since this summer that I'm overlooking?

Thanks.

We rode Mission Space several times on our latest vacation several weeks ago. If you get to Epcot early you shouldn't have more than a half hours wait. I would ride MS and then go to Magic Kingdom.

I wouldn't go to Epcot, get a fast pass, go to MK, return to Epcot.

Thanks. That wasn't in my thought process. I figured if we needed a FS, we would do something else in Futureworld until the time and then head to MK. Hey, my daughter thinks we can sneak in RnR too! I told her that's expecting too much.

dont push it... im sure you will get another oppertunity to go again...

if you try and cram a whole lot in your day may turn into a nightmare...

just my 2 cents

Your post made it sound like you were going to park hop while waiting for Mission Space.

You could get RnR in since you could take the boat to MGM. When I only have a short time to spend at the parks I try to hit the high points and then I don't feel like I missed anything.

Steve - you KNOW I'm going to go again. Actually, while it might be usual for you Floridians to go for one day, this will be a new experince for us. I'm so used to doing WDW at our leisure, we'll be more inclined to push it this time around.

safetymom - there is no way we're going to hit MGM before we make sure we get to MK, so RnR is out of the question this trip. My 15-year old is only pushing for it because she finally succumbed to our pressure this summer and tried it for the first time and fell in love with it (we told her so :)

Enjoy your trip. It will be fun just being in WDW even if it is just a day.
