Going for my first ever pedicure today! UPDATE page 2

Yardbird, I have my nails painted "I'm not a waitress " red every time I have a pedicure. I love it...and the pedicure too!

it's an OPI name for that color... they have all sorts of cute name for their nail polish.

I've never had a pedicure before either as I'm very leery of anyone cutting my cuticles too... do they usually do that? or just push them back a little?? I'm going to a wedding on June 5th and would love to get a pedicure

I go once a month and it is still such a treat!
I also have the OPI colors and they are so cute..

My only real indulgence in life!

oye - my toes still look cute - but my french manicure is just chip chip chipping away!!! it looks so crappy now!

oye - should have just done red on the nails too...i'm WAY too hard on my nails.

oh well.

as far as tipping - for a french mani/pedicure yesterday cost me $40 - I gave her a $10 tip. (usally for just a manicure i give $5.)

When I went for my manicure/pedicure/massage, last Thursday, I used a gift certificate that DH had given me for my birthday last November. The price of a french manicure and classic (red) pedicure is 65.00!! My manicure lasted two days, the pedicure still looks good. At those prices, it's pretty safe to say that this will be an "occassional" treat. I certainly don't feel that it was worth 65.00! The massage however, was heavenly!
