Going Feb.19-23, 2007 first time posting

How busy is the parks at this time? Staying at the CBR first at this resort. What is the best area to stay in there?

Actually, this is a busy time according to all the sites and books.

President's week is the 19th which is peak season. Nascar is the weekend before, and Mardi Gras is the 20th, which brings lots and lots of people from Louisiana! President's week doesn't always correspond with these other two functions, but this year it does.

I have seen some posts that say President's week is not near as bad as all the hipe! We always go early February, so haven't seen for myself!

Just remember: A crowded day at Disney is better than any day any where else!!

I can't answer your question, but I just wanted to say welcome, and my family will be at the parks starting the 22nd of February also..

We will be there from Feb 14th to the 26th. We expect crowds, but the parks are open much later and the temps should be cooler so it will be manageable. Can't wait!

We will be there from Feb. 16 to the 23rd. We usually go for Thanksgiving week so my thinking is that the crowds for President's day will seem like nothing!!! This is the first time in my life (41yrs.) that I won't be home to celebrate Mardi Gras. It will be strange, but I will take Disney any day over Mardi Gras.
