going end of April...book now and hope for code?

I will be going April 19-27...wondering if i should book now and hope for a code to come out? Should I renew my AP? What kind of deposit do I need to put down? Cancelation policy? Thanks

Deposit on a room only reservation is one night's stay.

If you cancel, you lose that deposit.

Huh???...since when? We had a room-only earlier this year that I had to cancel because our schedule isn't certain right now, and I got my deposit back. I thought you only lose it if you're within a week or so of arrival?

From the OP's original thread, it sounds like she's booking on the BRP program (asking about renweing AP, discounts.) If you book on the BRP and cancel, you lose your deposit.

For June/July 2006 I've already booked our resort and paid the one day deposit (which is refundable because I don't do any packages). Next I'll do flights and AP (no connection), then revise my resort reservation with the AP rate, purchase the DDE (20% off all meals for $50), and book the KTTK tour and Sedgeway Tour. My Visa allows 20% off those tours. Last will be my dining ressies--say February. So I'd say now is not a minute too soon to start working down your checklist for April. The sooner all the pieces are in place, the sooner you can relax.
