I didn't think that was the problem and I was right. The new dr said she thinks Avy just grew and needs a different script again. I need to call her other dr on monday. She only had these glasses for 6 weeks before we noticed the changes. The Dr said we may be running in a lot the next few yrs as her eyes keep changing. Ouch these glasses cost us $500. She needs good ones to protect that eye. The great news is this dr thinks she will always have some sight. The new game plan is to see her every 6 months from now on. She will be watching that retina very close.
The dr said "Do you have any idea how lucky your daughter is to have ANY sight at all." We told her yes the other dr tells us that all the time.

So glad she is doing well. Peanut is on my daily prayer list.

AMAZING news about her eyes, and even better that they think she will probably always have some sight. Just the best news!!!

Both dh and couldn't stop shaking when we got to the car. It is more then we could hope for. Even if she has to have enlarged words to read I don't care. I want her to be able to see her babies first smile

We have not heard back from Make a Wish yet BUT I went ahead and booked the 50's Prime Time Cafe for noon on the 20th. I figured I could always cancel if I need to
I couldn't find anything at the CRT for the time we were there. I checked all the dates we are hoping to go but no luck

Operation "Tell Avy about Disney World" is underway!!!!!!!!
That is the email I got from her wish granters.
They are going to tell her at Pizza Hut on Friday. The kids are going to freak out.
I am sooo mean I told the kids this weekend that we didn't think Avy got her wish because we have not heard anything. Then I pulled up Disney world online for all the kids to see and did this big production about how since Avy can't go mom and dad still want to so I think we are going to leave the kids at home and go with out them.
After some but but but moms came out Jason finally said well at least can't you take Avy since it was her wish.
I can't wait to see their faces when the granters tell them. Plus I told them that they get to tell the kids we get to go to Harry Potter they have NO idea about that.

We're mean, huh? We were very hesitant to tell them incase something happened and the trip had to be postponed. We were just trying to protect them, after the last year we've had medically with Peanut. But, I think it will be good for her (and Monkey will love it), to have something to look forward to. Something to keep her spirits up, with everything going on. So we're excited to spill the beans! I'm also nervous that as more people know, someone will let it slip to them, and I would be very dissapointed for them to find out that way.

Another Eye update.
I don't know if it is good or bad to tell you the truth.
I took her back to her main eye surgeon today. He loves to pick on me. By telling me that he has known my daughter longer then I have.

He is confused about what is going on. Her vision has not gotten any worse but her astigmatism has. It changed what she is seeing by 2 steps. He messed around a long time (longest he has ever been in the room with her) with her script trying to get it right. We hope this helps for now. He really thinks she has something degenerative going on and they can't see it yet.
He is glad we are going to be seeing the retina surgeon and him every 6 months from now on.
I did ask him how many times the retina has been attached already and he thought 2 or 3 times. He didn't do those surgeries. I think he did her cataract surgeries. He just keeps telling he has done more laser surgery on those eyes then he wants to think about
He doesn't like to talk about her time in the hospital I really should get those records one day.

Tomorrow is the big day they are finally going to tell her that she is getting her trip

It all sounds so incredibly frustrating, I can only imagine. I too think its a good idea to get ahold of all of her past medical records for things you aren't aware of. It might fill in the gaps, and answer some questions you may have. I really hope her eyes stabilize soon, rather then continue to worsen.

Thanks for the prayers. This has been a roller coaster few weeks with her. I feel like we are going backwards right now instead of forward.
I am looking forward to tomorrow so we can finally tell the kids they are going for sure.
