Just wanted to pop in and say hi. You are truely a remarkable mother to take so many children into your heart and home. I saw abby's story and it melted my heart. Part of the reason is because premiee children have a soft spot in my heart. I found out I was pregnant just after we got back from my son Liam's wish trip back in September 2009. Unfortunalty due to medical complications he was born at 26 weeks and 5 days. He was in the hospital for 14 weeks and came home with a feeding tube but luckily was off of it about a month later. He is now 11 mo old (today) and is doing very well. Of course he is far behind kids his age, clorer to that of a 7 mo old, but I am just happy he is doing as well as he is.

Can't wait to see more of your pre-trip. Lots of Love, Corrine

OH WOW! WOW! PTL and WOW! you're story brought tears and smiles, thank you so much for sharing. I wonder if a cooling vest my be appropriate for your daughter. THere's multiple conditions that are exacerbated by heat...I know Ive heard of vests that help keep the body temperature regulated. If I remember anything else I'll send the info your way. maybe you can google it. What a fabulous family you have. wishing you all the very best of all GOd's blessings!

I may do the neck things that you get wet then put around your neck. I have seen them at craft shows. I may just make them for all the kids
The dump water over her head trick works really well and we can hit some water ride too.

I am better now. I had a fever of 102.5 and wow I was wiped right now for about 3 days. I'm stuck dealing with a sick husband and 2 boys that are playing the "man sick game" those to boys are way worse then my husband ever has been. I feel bad for their wives one day. I am mean and didn't play into them but wow they put on a good show
Avy is the only one that has not been hit yet with the crud, but she is super tired so I hope she just fighting it that way.

Small update
I emailed Make a Wish today, to find out if they had a update for us. The cool thing is I found out we will get to have the same worker we had for Jason. We were told we had a different worker. She told me that they are waiting for the board to approve her wish, then she would get a hold of me right away to pick out dates. She also told me she pulled out all of Jason's paperwork and moved it over to Avy's file so we shouldn't need to fill out anything.
She said she was so excited to be working with us again, I told her not as happy we are. The other worker was so hard to get a hold of. I know I will get emails back within mins with this worker


Kid updates
Everyone of us had the crud here for the last week but I think we are turning the corner. Only grandma made it through without getting sick. Keep your fingers crossed she doesn't get it because she is having surgery on monday for her broken toe (that mean old bed just attacked her)

Last week the wheelchair vendors brought over tester wheelchairs for Avy and Hayden. We loved Avy's and hated Hayden's
So we are getting both of them quickie 2's if we can get insurance to pay for them. It will be a close one to get them in time for out trip. Wow 3 wheelchairs in the back of my mini van just doesn't work, so Jason's will have be be stuffed in under the kids feet. Hayden ordered a cool white one that glows in the dark. Avy ordered a hot pink one. I was shocked she went for pink but the purple was a awful color and the vendor talked her into pink instead. He said that the pink was way cooler so she went for it

I've found another inspiring family! So happy that Avy is getting her wish granted! Not to rehash the past, but for Baby Bear. I work with a teacher who was a foster parent to 2 brothers for over a year. They finally became a forever family last November, but every week I saw her, there was a new update on the boys. Sometimes good and sometimes not so good. I'm amazed by you and all the other foster parents out there - I honestly do not know if I would be strong enough to do it.
