Our trip last Nov. got cancelled due to some complications early in my pregnancy, and I've been itching to go ever since. My Dr. gave me the all clear in Feb. but Dh has been too busy at work to take off and now that the new codes were so close to coming out we decided to wait and take advantage of the nice fla resident discount. We are going the the last week of April, and I will be 30 wks pregnant by then. I'm planning on waddling my way thru the world! Anyway, I've been many times, but never while pregnant so any and all suggestions would be appreciated. We're staying at POR.

Gosh. I can't help you, since I ended up delivering at 30 weeks. It's not something I would personally want to do, though. Good luck!

I went at 28 weeks in Dec 2002 and had a great time. I was able to ride just about anything without pregnancy warning and had plenty to do.

Don't forgot to drink your water and eat well (not a problem at Disney, I know :) ). Also, if you are having any problems, don't hesitate to rent an ECV. By the end of my pregnancy, I was having a lot of lower back pain. I rented an ECV to get from place to place, then parked it with the strollers and walked on most rides.

The best advice I have was DH's before I went...Don't overdue it. Don't hesitate to sit down and take a break or go back to the room and take a nap if you feel you need it.

Most of all...have a great time!

I was there in January at 28 weeks PG. I just tried to take it easy and drink lots of water. I didn't ride anything really exciting, although I did do the safari at AK. It wasn't too bad, just a little bumpy. I did notice that the baby jumped around like crazy at the loud shows, notably Tarzan Rocks and FOTLK. I would suggest sitting down and resting as soon as you feel even the littlest bit tired, eating as soon as you feel hungry, and drinking even before you feel thirsty. I did have some back pain, but I would have had that at home anyway. I did my back stretches regularly and that helped. We also had the stroller and it actually helped to push it. Kind of a walking aid. I'm sure you will have a wonderful time! Oh, make sure you have extra comfy shoes. Your feet may swell more than normal after lots of walking. Have fun!

thanks that sounds like what I was expecting. We will be taking it easy for me and because we will have our 4yr old and 21 month old with us, afternoon naps are a must. We love Por atmosphere, so we figured we'd enjoy just spending some time relaxing there as well. Thanks so much,

Make sure it's okay with your health insurance, too. Some of them won't cover an out-of-state birth after a certain point in your pregnancy because they expect you to stay close to home. Personally, I delivered at 35 weeks, and I would have delivered at 30 weeks if I had been doing all that walking. But you've had other children, so I guess you have less risk factors for a premature delivery.

Edited to say that I see you live in Florida, so you may not have any problems with your insurance anyway.

I did an unexpected two day trip to WDW when I was 30 weeks pregnant. We were on a Hilton Head/St. Augustine vacation and decided to tack on 3 days at WDW at the end when our flight home was cancelled. As long as I remembered to drink lots of water and wear the right shoes, I was fine. Everyone went at my pace and it was a nice relaxing vacation. I even did the Safari at AK, however, I wouldn't recommend that for everyone. I had a very uneventful, uncomplicated pregancy and felt that if they let babies on the ride, then it should be ok for me. I think the biggest concern at 30 wks is swelling and remembering to rest with your feet up.

I have been to WDW 2 times pregnant in 2 pregnacies. 1st time I was at 36 weeks! I had been sick the most of the pregnacy and actually started feeling better for the 6th month on. We took it easy and just did Epcot and MK since this was our 1st child. We stayed at Y&B and just had a relaxing and fun time. No problems at all, just listen to your body. I had my Dr. full approval to go at that time, infact he encourged it. (BTW DD came right on her due date.)

Our most recent trip (Jan 1 to 7th 2004) I was 8 weeks pregnant. (trip planed before the pregnancy.) In fact my friends who came with us just found out she was pregnant the day they got there! I had morning sickenss very badly before we left, but felt great the whole trip. (then it started back up after I got home, infact it just started going away last week.)

We are planning a trip to Vero Beach (DVC) in early May, I will be 26 weeks then. We hope to just do the beach and pool and relax for one last family vacation before things get really busy around here.

Since you are a few hours from home and used the weather there I wouldnt' worry about it at all. Enjoy yourselves. You and you husband and kids need some fun before the addtion comes! Make sure you can cancel your plans and rescdule for later if needed just in case.

We went in May 2002 when I was 32 weeks. The best advice I can offer is not to over do it too soon. :) We walked WAY too much the first day and the rest of the vacation my calves were killing me. My other regret is not taking a picture of EVERY bathroom I went into. I think that would have been a very humurous photo journal. I couldn't pass a toilet without using it. :)
