Has anyone ever dealt with Godfrey tours. I found an email address on cruise critic. They will pick you up and do shopping, Mt top and a beach of your choice. The price is 20.00 per person. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

We have a tour booked with them in May - although we have chosen to have a private tour just for our family. Happy to update you after the event.

I booked them as they were highly recommended by a contributor to these boards - who had a good experience with a private tour organised by Godfrey last year.

He has been very helpful and responsive via email to date.

I sent an E-mail, but never got a reply. How many people do you need for a private tour? I would be interested in being dropped off at a couple locations and also some touring (seeing the sights) since all it did was rain when we were there 2 years ago, I surly don't want to do any shopping this time. I thought it would be easier then getting a cab to move from location to location and was asking if you can pick your locations to be dropped off and picked up. Want to do Megen's Bay (sp), Coki's beach, the high spot and some of the other things that looked interesting on the site. Is this what you are doing? We go in August so hopefully you can report back. Thanks!

I don't know how many it takes for a private tour, but we have an interested party of seven. Godfrey did E-mail us back for an April date and I have requested more information. I'll let you know what happens!

Anyone else ever used this tour company?

Godfrey Tours

Hersh ~
Our group had the pleasure in December. :)
It is Godfrey and his brother Tony ~ we had Tony. They have a limo, open air safari bus, and van available. We chose the A/C van and it worked great. A private 'group' consists of any number you chose as it is a flat fee for the private tour. I think he charged around $300 + tip for the day. We felt it most reasonable for our group of 16. Tony picked us up at the ship at 8:30am and had us back by 4pm. We spent the day touring the island, including Mountain Top, took the kids to Coral World while the men parasailed, then everyone met at Coki Beach, went swimming and had a picnic we'd brought from the ship. He even allowed time for a shopping spree. It was a most delightful day utilizing our short time on St. T. to the max. They will work with whatever tour you decide and were very faithful about emailing or answering calls. Enjoy, I hope you have a wonderful trip!
