Thanks to Wily-Mo who just hit a 3 run shot, my BoSox are up 4-2 over KC; the Twins are down big, and let's hope ChiSox beat the Evil Empire (although chisox are in the Wild card race too).

As for the team, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm looking forward to Keith Foulke's return. He's gotta be better than what they've got now. But as much as I'm holding out for Foulke, I still don't expect much of anything from him.

Either way, we've still got a long way to go.

P.S. Since I mentioned Wily's name, did you know Coco's real name is actually Covelli, Trot's first name is Christopher (and he hates being called that), Manny is Manuel, and Big Papi's full name is David Americo Ortiz Arias? Seems like none of them go by their actual names, huh? And don't forget our old friend Nomar (Actually Anthony)!

I have to resort to "gameday" to watch the games since all we get around here is the YES network (yankees network). I used to subscribe to MLB.TV but I didn't this year; I need to next year.

Crap....I've just been Tivo'd. Here I am saying...what is this all about? Only to remember I paused Tivo when I went upstairs to check on the baby. For me it's 4-3 men on 1st and 2nd. How depressing. I guess I'll fast forward.

Yeah! That cricket was there last night too. I thought he was outside my window for like five innings last night and thought to myself, 'man that cricket is loud!'

About Nomar, that's true about it being his father's name backwards, but his mother didn't want such an odd name for her child, so she let him have Nomar as his middle name and gave him the more conventional Anthony. When you see Nomar's autograph, if he put the A in front, then you know it's a good one. He signs with and without the A. When it's with the A, it's much more valuable.

Another random fun fact considering names and the Sox. Trot's name is Christopher Trotman Nixon. His first son is named Chase Trotman Nixon!

Lost 5 of 6 to teams with some of the worst records in baseball. I expect tough games from TB, but I thought we'd get at least 2 of 3 from KC.
