Today I was heading back to LA, alone for the first time in 2 weeks. The trek was so much fun and I had met some lovely people, but all good things have to come to an end! After a lay in I packed the last few remaining things and Hayley came with me across to the airport to say goodbye. My flight left around lunchtime and was on time
After more tears I checked in and my seat was an aisile seat
The queue to departures was huge!! Eventually I got through and found the gate. The flight was also packed but the couple I sat next to preferred the aisle seat and middle one so I got the window seat, I so much prefer that as on a daylight flight I love to watch the scenery pass me by
Soon we were over Lake Tahoe
The flight was about 2 ½ hours long and once in LA my luggage came off remarkably quickly. As I had already stayed at the Hacienda I decided that was the best place to stay for these two nights and earlier in the year had booked it at half price so the two nights came to less than £130
After checking in dinner called so off I went to Sizzler just across the street. Tomorrow was to be shopping and sunbathing as the temp was nicely in the 80s!
