IllumFan - make sure your envelopes are less than 3/4 inch thick. That is the max thickness before they will charge you for a package. Hopefully someone else can answer your questions about envelopes.

Any hints on saving on postage? The PO charges me for a small package every week because the ones I send out are too thick. I like the small manila envelopes you send me. Are they considered a regular envelope by PO or do they charge extra?

The p.o. charges extra if the envelope feels "rigid," is over 3/4" thickness, or if it is sealed with a metal clamp (so I always pry those off if I'm using a manila envelope and just seal it and then tape it). If they're charging you the package rate, you're paying quite a bit more than for an envie 3/4 inch thick or less. It costs even less if your envie is 1/4" thick or less. You can ask for one of those measuring devices at the p.o. I find it very helpful for measuring how thick my envies are and always make sure they will slip through the 3/4" slot. You might be better off breaking it up into smaller 1/4" envies and sending two or three (maybe even four?) slimmer, pliable envies vs one thick rigid one.

I have been sending & getting. I just don't have internet access at this time.

My wonderful teenager doesn't understand that she doesn't need to send any more than 500 texts a month costing me $609 last month.

I did get the bill lowered, because they never told me of the family plan's switch from unlimited when I added a new phone 2 months ago. I now have 4 phones on the plan & I can only have 3??? so they took my daughter off the family plan????

I am so confused. I feel like I spend half my life fighting with people on the phone over money lately.

It seems someone put it in the sorter when it was not supposed to go into it because of it's size and now it is just a mangled piece of paper. Wow! Sorry you are having such problems! Luckily my kids are not teenagers yet so no phone worries but I'm already dreading it! Thank you for the two envelopes of coupons last week!

Just saying hi to everyone today. I am so tired of getting papers without coupons. Does anyone else have that problem? Why is it that I seem to pick up the one without. But luckily I was able to find some in our local paper. I have to buy the papers from the big city because my small town paper only has 1 set of coupons vs the 2 or 3 that are in the big city papers.
